HOMBRES is a new dance musical about three 60-year-old best friends: MJ, a washed-up musician hiding in the Pacific Northwest; David, a surfer searching for something the ocean can’t provide; and Lars, a recovering alcoholic on the brink of experiencing true love. When MJ receives life-altering news, he summons David and Lars to Portland, where they must confront their scars, broken relationships, deep regrets, and the inevitability of loss. Set to an alternative/indie pop-rock score, OUT THERE is a raw and hilarious exploration of love, loss, and the deep bonds that hold us together.

As the world painstakingly emerges from a catastrophic war, a young, broke, artist-turned-soldier finds himself an accidental war hero, thrust into global fame.

Governmental leaders across the globe scramble to evacuate billions of displaced “global warming migrants” to several newly-built cities. Meanwhile, billionares steadily evacuate to a colony in outerspace. The creator of the colony asks the young artist to travel with them to live and work there as a resident artist.

Offered everything - access, wealth, abundance, and an unstoppable career - it seems like all of the young artist’s dreams are coming true... so why is he so panicked all the time?

Could it be because his homeland is burning? Or maybe because his wealthy benefactor seems to teeter between trying to kiss him and trying to kill him. Or possibly because he is currently experiencing the worst artistic block of his entire life.

Failure could mean his death...

But what can success mean when the world is ending?
